Determination of platelet serotonin by radioimmunoassay and comparison with the spectrophotofluorometric method
Description
The 5-hydroxytryptamine (5-HT) radioimmunoassay (RIA) has been adapted to estimate blood platelet 5-HT. Comparison with the spectrophotofluorometric method indicates that the RIA is not only adequate but has the advantage of being considerably easier and requiring less tissue. (U.S.)
