Description

Technological equipment of NPP EBO Jaslovske Bohunice diagnostic systems with more than 25 unit years operational experience are described. Both parts of NPP EBO - NPP V1 (consisted of two units of the VVER - 440/230 type) and NPP V2 (consisted of two units of the VVER - 440/213 type) - belong to the best equipped nuclear power plants in the world as to diagnostic systems. Technological equipment is completely surveillance in the following fields: leakages detection; vibration diagnostics of chosen parts; vibrations monitoring of rotating machines; loose parts monitoring; fatigue monitoring ; acoustic emission monitoring. Complex survey about mechanical properties and state of separate components, enabling in time to plan, respectively directly performing repairs and maintenance of equipment, is given. Based upon these created conditions the EBO NPP fulfills very exigent criteria giving the LBB statute of NPP. The system enable to implement a prophylactic care of equipment according to long-term trends. A survey of operated diagnostic systems, their brief technical description and some examples of their results in practice are given in following parts of this paper. (authors)
