Whole-body comparison of time-of-flight and phase-contrast MR angiography at 0.5 T

Description
The goal of this paper is to compare the clinical effectiveness of time-of-flight (TOF) and phase-contrast MR angiographic methods performed on a modern 0.5-T MR imager in various parts of the body. 3D TOF methods worked will for imaging the circle of Willis and the aortic arch. Fast sequential 2D methods with RF spoiling worked well for the carotids. Coronal 2D RF-spoiled sequential methods showed abdominal vasculature. Phase-contrast methods were effective in the carotids, lover, and legs. The most effective MR angiographic method at 0.5 T varies according to the body part
