Description
We estimate the absolute values of the light current quark masses m/sub u/, m/sub d/, and m/sub s/ defined as parameters in the renormalized quantum-chromodynamic Lagrangian in two different ways. Our results are m/sub u/=1.8 +- 0.7 MeV, m/sub d/=4.3 +- 1.7 MeV, and m/sub s/=112 +- 66 MeV at the renormalization-point mass μapprox.1 GeV
