Magnetically suspended annular flywheel

Description

An experimental model of a magnetically suspended annular flywheel is described. The radial motions of the flywheel are controlled actively by the help of rare earth cobalt permanent magnets which make the system reliable and light. The blushless DC motor turned the annular flywheel at a maximum speed of 800rpm. (Author)
