Crystal structural investigation of triple molybdate LiRbBi2(MoO4)4
Description
Monocrystals of LiRbBi2(MoO4)4 ternary molybdate were synthesized, and its crystal structure was determined. The compound crystallized in monoclinic syngony, sp. gr. C2/c, z = 2 (a = 5.3056, b = 12.976, c = 19.578 A, β = 92.583 deg, R 0.029). The structure is characterized by the presence of fret layers of Bi-octavertex structures and Mo-tetrahedrons, connected to them by common vertices. The adjacent layers are connected by Rb decavertex structures and Li-octahedrons
