Influence of plasma density on MHD activity in tokamaks
Description
Measurements of magnetic field oscillations in several Tokamak (as Alcator C and ST) are presented, together with other characteristics of the plasma discharges. A discussion is made of the influence of plasma current and density profiles on the presence of MHD modes. Thus, some conclusions are drawn, indicating that theoretical predictions are not always verified. (Author)

Apresentam-se medidas de oscilacoes de campo magnetico em varios Tokamaks (como Alcator C e ST) junto com outras caracteristicas de descargas de plasma. Discute-se a influencia da corrente de plasma e perfis de densidades na presenca de modos MHD. Conclui-se que as previsoes teoricas nao sao sempre verificadas. (E.G.)Additional details
