Description
At the end of May, finishing touches were put to the last of the 400 standard magnet modules for the 30 GeV electron ring of the HERA electron-proton collider being built at the German DESY Laboratory in Hamburg. With its copper vacuum pipe, this 14 metre module includes a 9 metre dipole, a quadrupole, a sextupole and a correction magnet
