Neutrino oscillations: Global analyses

Description

Global analyses of neutrino oscillation data are becoming increasingly refined and complex. On the one hand, theoretical models used to interpret the current phenomenology are becoming more general. On the other hand, new or more accurate data from different kinds of oscillation searches (with solar, atmospheric, or laboratory ν beams) need to be continually included. By using the solar neutrino parameter estimation as a paradigm, we discuss a general way to perform and present global analyses and parameter fitting in terms of 'pulls' of observables and of systematics. Results are discussed in detail for the solar 2v active oscillation case
