Radiogenetic and radiobiological indications for interruption of pregnancy
Description
Taking into consideration the recent literature, and based on his own experience, the author deals with the question of interruption following radiation stress in early pregnancy. At fetal doses of above 10 R, induction of abortion is thought to be necessary. In the German Democratic Republic a central consultation service has been established at the National Board of Nuclear Safety and Radiation Protection offering expert opinions on these problems.
