Correlational thermodynamics of plasmas. Pt. 2. Electric conductivity
Description
Starting from the correlational hydrodynamics developed in the previous part, the dc- and the ac-conductivity of a plasma are derived. As a consequence of our general approach, we are able to take into account both the retardation of the electromagnetic interaction and the correlations between the particles. In the case of dc-conductivity explicit results for the correlational corrections are obtained. Comparison between theoretical and experimental data closes our considerations. (orig.)
