Nuclear interactions of protons and deuterons at 4.3, 6.3 and 8.9 GeV/c

Description

Experimental data obtained in proton-deuteron interactions by means of a magnetic spectrometer the JINR synchrophasotron n are presented. Results of 6.3 GeV/c deuteron fragmentation on H, D, 12C, 27Al, 207Bi nuclei at 103 mrad angle are given. The structure of high momentum deuteron spectra in dd-collisions at 4.3, 6.3 and 8.9 GeV/c at the same angle has been studied. The search of deuteron knock out from carbon nuclei by 4.3 GeV/c protons was performed. It is shown that experimental data are well described within the framework of the multiple diffraction nucleon-nucleon scattering model
