The melestones of the application of radiation diagnosis in oncology

The milestones of developing radiation diagnostics at the R and D Institute of Oncology considered. It is shown that already 30 years ago it was represented practically by one single roentgenological method, which slowly evolved through improvement of roentgen apparatus, angiographic facilities, tomographic attachments, lattices, cassettes, screens, films and their treatment. In the sixties there appeared electron image intensifiers. There were developed methods of artificial contrasting generally in combination with tomography. The xerography clinical tests did not lead to its introduction. Attention is paid to fluorography, complex application of radiation methods and ECHO- and USI methods, computerized tomography, magnetoresonance tomography, bronchography, etc
