Description
Near-infrared absorption lines of 2916, 4066, 4113, 4139 and 4168 cm-1 have been observed in type IIa diamond neutron irradiated and annealed at temperatures higher than 1400oC. A photochromic behaviour of these defects under various illumination conditions is reported and the phenomenon is explained by a charge transfer model. (Author)
