Description
This paper reports on the distribution of flux pinning energy in melt-textured growth (MTG) YBa2Cu3O7 superconductor irradiated by fast neutrons determined by rotating-sample magnetic measurement at liquid nitrogen temperature. It was found that neutron irradiation strengthened flux pinning by increasing the most probable pinning energy along c-axis and in ab plane by 47% and 82% respectively. Anisotropy of flux pinning was also observed. New strong pinning sites might be created by neutron irradiation
