Description

The paper describes the design of fuel sub-assemblies with 8.5 mm diameter fuel pins, which are currently being loaded into PFR. The design is intended to demonstrate and develop features which are proposed for EFR. The design incorporates a number of features which have not been included in previous PFR fuel designs. The development of these features is described. (author)
