Description
Transputers are processors with four very high-speed serial links in addition to their conventional input/output interfaces. These links allow them in particular to be used in networks as part of a multiprocessor architecture. Transputers are also equipped with an internal cache memory intended to increase the program execution speed by limiting the number of external accesses. IMST805 and IMST225 transputers are being considered for space applications. In a view to predict their in orbit behavior, their sensitivity to Single Event Phenomena has been evaluated under heavy ions
