Field dose rate measurement by mobile equipment

Description

In the environment of most nuclear installations in German rings of automatic dose rate meters are installed to give information even when the meters at the stack are overload. In order to reduce the number of devices needed and the costs of maintenance it is discussed to use in somes cases mobile dose rate meters equipped with radio transmitters. These should be brought to certain places and switched on just in case of emergency. (author)

No ambiente das maiorias das instalacoes nucleares da Alemanha, campainhas de medidores de taxa de dose automatico sao instalados para dar informacao mesmo quando os medidores estao carregados. Para reduzir o numero de aparelhos necessarios e os custos de manutencao discute-se o uso em alguns casos de medidores moveis de taxa de dose equipados com radio-transmissores. Estes devem ser conduzidos para certos lugares e abertos em casos de emergencia. (M.C.K.)
