Description
Both clearance and exemption are the concepts to remove the regulatory control on radiation sources based on trivial risk. But those concepts are applied to the different situations and subjects. Therefore the derived radioactivity levels for exemption and clearance are different on the same radionuclides. This fact causes the confusion to realize those concepts. The introduction of those concepts to our regulatory rules will cause the anxious of general people. Also we should consider the some problems such as the international coincidence of those levels and the of exit regulatory rules. In my presentation, the related problems of exemption and clearance and discussed. (author)
