An MCNP simulation for API applications to waste management issues
Description
Issues associated with waste management have increasingly become a focal point of attention for both scientists and government officials since the end of the cold war. The problems are difficult to solve; the solutions are expensive to implement. Consequently, the development of a data simulation system capable of predicting the performance of a real system can save many thousands of dollars in travel expenses, optimization of experimental parameters, etc. In this effort, computer codes were developed to simulate the production of API data so that its performance in a typical waste management application can be assessed
