WWER-440 Wet Storage Facility Structural Materials Performance in Jaslovské Bohunice

Description
Surveillance samples have been kept in the spent fuel interim storage (SFIS) pool in Jaslovské Bohunice and monitored on an annual basis. The samples are used to infer the current conditions of the SFIS pool lining and the ATABOR steel used to fabricate the compact racks in use. An additional area of work is characterization of biofilms formed on the surface of the SFIS pools.
