Description

A forecast for the growth of light crude oil feedstock from non- conventional sources was presented. According to this author, the Canadian light oil supply picture is not as bleak as some conventional supply forecasts may suggest. The two commercially attractive non-conventional supply sources in Canada are the Western Canada Heavy Oil and Oil Sands region and the Jeanne d'Arc Basin offshore Newfoundland. Prospects for oil production at these two sites were reviewed. 7 figs
