Mark I containment evaluation short term program: final report. Volume I. Program description and summary of conclusions
Description
An evaluation is presented of twenty-three Mark I containments subjected to the dynamic effects from the most probable pool dynamic loads induced by the postulated design basis accident. The evaluation herein verifies the Mark I containments will retain their structural integrity and will remain functional when subjected to the above loads, even though some of these loads were not explicitly included in the original containment design bases. One plant presently under construction will require minor modifications in order to assure structural integrity. (auth)
