Characterization of non-stoichiometric Cd Se grown by the gradient recrystallization and growth technique (GREG)
- 1. Instituto de Fisica, 'Luis Rivera Terrazas'. Universidad Autonoma de Puebla (Mexico)
Description
In this work, a preliminary study of cadmium selenide films grown by the gradient recrystallization and growth (GREG) method is presented. Photoluminescence, x-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, and microprobe studies were used for their characterization. This preliminary study exhibits that, in spite of the deviation from stoichiometry, the films grown by GREG technique show properties which are competitive to those obtained by other methods.
