Diffraction dissociation and position of dip in large - t hadron - hadron elastic scattering

Description

The main feature of hadron-hadron elastic differential cross-section in large-t region is the progressive development of a sharp dip around t=1.4 GeV. In the present work it is adjusted the proportionality constant and the positions of the dip (tdip) =X/δtot and the positions of the second maxima (tmax) = Y/δtot as a function of c.m. energy is calculated for p-p interactions
