Creators

  • 1. International Atomic Energy Agency, Vienna (Austria)

Description

Natural and synthetic polymer materials are usually used for production of disposable medical items. The manufacture of sterile disposable medical products is a complex process which requires special considerations in all stages of manufacture, from the selection of raw materials to sterilization. Medical application and sterilization method must also be taken into account as well as functional quality of products in the selection of raw materials. (A.J.)
