Study of amorphous vanadates using Moessbauer spectroscopy
Description
Boro-vanadate glasses containing iron have been prepared by two different techniques and investigated using X-ray diffraction and Moessbauer spectroscopy. It has been inferred that iron occupies octahedral sites as ferric ions. It is observed that the glass forming ability of the melt increases with increase in B2O3 concentration. (Auth.)
