Description
We show that a new class of ultraviolet finite N = 2 supersymmetric Yang-Mills theories exists in which some hypermultiplets belong to irreducible, pseudoreal representations of the gauge group G. Some of these theories contain fermions which are strictly massless before the spontaneous breaking of G. A classification of these theories and of those which admit at least three generations of quarks and leptons is given. (orig.)
