Investigation of natural radionuclides contents in soil in Hunan Province

Description
The results of natural radionuclides content in soil in Hunan Province was presented. There were totally 321 samples collected from 321 measuring points, among which 309 points were sited in uniformly distributed networks of size 25 x 25 km, and other 12 points were more densely distributed. The samples were analysed by radiochemical method. The results showed that the sample-weighted average concentration of 238U, 232Th, 226Ra and 40K was 48.05, 54.82, 82, 59.36 and 447.75 Bq·kg-1 respectively
