Highlights: • To develop the knowledge on biosensors with various nanoferrites. • Nanoferrites based different electrochemical biosensors were discussed. • Enriched multifunctional ferrites interaction improves sensitivity and selectivity. Nanoferrites are attracting materials for sensor materials in various industries today. These materials are useful in diverse sensor applications in various fields. Among those various sensors, Biosensors are highly attracted by an on-spot finding of biomarkers based on the biotic samples with less magnetic susceptibility. Further, Electrochemical sensor based biosensors have found several exciting applications in the field of ecological, engineering, and medical studies. So, the investigation of these nanoferrite materials is essential to identify their limitations for future development. Hence, this review intends to focus on research related to nanoferrites used in biosensors, various approaches have been employed in the production of nanoferrites and their constraints. Amazing sensitivity, cheap, high stability, great selectivity, and quick response at low temperature creates these sensors favorable for medical industries. So, this literature review will be helpful to identify the importance of biosensor, improve the performance of the biosensors in various places, and to develop the knowledge for prospects to further enrichments
