Comments on normal-product methods for the anomalies in the trace-identity of the stress-tensor

A normal-product approach is presented for the anomaly in the trace-identity demonstrated in a scalar model. The result is interpreted regarding the older considerations given by K. Wilson, S. Coleman and R. Jackiw. Partial agreement with traditional treatments is observed. (Auth.)
