Plasma wall interactions database and related computer codes computer simulation of combined effects of diffusion and erosion
Description
We discuss the present status of the development of computer-simulation hybrid codes that treat both the surface erosion of plasma-facing walls and the diffusion of incident ions and/or of target atoms in those walls, and we also show some simulation results derived by the codes. The codes discussed here are only those that have been developed or used widely in the research field of plasma-wall interactions since 1993. (author)
