REB injected toroidal plasma
- 1. Nagoya Univ. (Japan). Inst. of Plasma Physics
Description
A stable relativistic electron beam (REB) ring for plasma confinement was formed by REB injection with the help of image currents in a resistive shell, and then the ring was compressed in major radius by a factor 2.0. The current rise well obeyed the adiabatic scaling law. (Auth.)
