Description
Examination of dopant distribution in high purity materials requires methods which exhibit high sensitivity and good resolution. This is the case when determining boron distribution in silicon. Since this problem could not be solved by means of classical autoradiography. The tracks of α-particles from the nuclear reaction 10B(n,α)7Li were recorded by means of Solid State Track Detectors. The distribution of boron in silicon and in M.O.S. was examined. The method was also used for examination of bismuth distribution in Bi-Cu, Bi-Zn and Bi-Sn alloys. (author)
