Study of compounds forming glass-like consistence in selenium(4)-tungsten(6)-sulfuric (hydrochloric) acid system

Description
Methods of IR spectroscopy, X-ray phase analysis and paper chromatography are used to study complexing in Se(4)-W(6)-H2SO4 (HCl) system. It is shown that glass-like product of etherate synthesis, referred to the 12-series heteropoly compounds is a mixture of seleno-6-tungstic and metatungstic acids
