Crystal structures of rubidium and cesium di(thiourea)ethylenediaminetetraacetatobismuthates(III)

Description
Mixed-ligand complex CsBi(Edta)(Tu)2 · 3H2O (Edta ethylenediaminetetraacetatobismuthate-ion, Tu = thiocarbamide) has been synthesized for the first time, its structure being determined by the method of X-ray diffraction analysis. It was ascertained that the complex is crystallized in monoclinic crystals system with the following unit cell parameters: a = 10.929(1), b = 16.309(2), c = 14.419(1)A, β = 101.232(2) deg, sp.gr. P2/c, Z = 4. The complex structure is formed by CS+ cations, complex anions and crystallization water molecules. Nearest surrounding of Cs+ cations is made up by four oxygen atoms of Edta ligands, two oxygen atoms of water molecules and two sulfur atoms. Distances Cs-O(Edta), Cs-O(H2O) and Cs-S lie in the ranges 3.009(2)-3.313(2), 3.170(3)-3.774(2) 3.661(1)-3.783(1) A
Abstract (Russian)
Методом рентгеноструктурного анализа определено строение впервые синтезированного смешанолигандного комплекса CsBi(Edta)(Tu)2 · 3H2O (Edta = этилендиаминтетраацетат-ион, Tu = тиокарбамид). Установлено, что комплекс кристаллизуется в моноклинной сингонии с параметрами элементарной ячейки: a = 10.929(1), b = 16.309(2), c = 14.419(1)A, β 101.232(2) deg, пр.гр. P2/c, Z = 4. Структура комплекса образована катионами Cs+, комплексными анионами и молекулами кристаллизационной воды. Ближайшее окружение катионов Cs+ составляют четыре атома кислорода лигандов Edta, два атома кислорода молекул воды и два атома серы. Расстояния Cs-O(Edta), Cs-O(H2O) и Cs-S лежат в интервалах соответственно 3.009(2)-3.313(2), 3.170(3)-3.774(2) 3.661(1)-3.783(1) AAdditional details
