Acousto-electric transformation at the metal boundary. The role of surface scattering of charge carriers

Description
The electric potential that appears on a metal surface distorted by ultrasound wave is calculated under conditions of diffuse surface scattering of conduction electrons. The frequency dependences of transformation coefficients obtained (for free and fixed boundaries of the sample) are compared with the results of the simplified theory based on the assumption of <> reflection of carriers by metal surface
