On the influence of the mean-free-path parameter on intranuclear cascade calculations

It is shown that, contrary to a recent contention by Ginocchio and Blann, intranuclear cascade model calculations do not demonstrate the inadmissibility of a nucleon mean free path in nuclear matter longer than that evaluated from free nucleon-nucleon scattering cross sections
