Band crossing in the superdeformed bands in 145Gd

Description

Gamma-rays emitted from 145Gd excited in the heavy ion reaction of 36S with the 114Cd target at energy of 182 MeV have been investigated. Two new superdeformed bands have been established, consisting of 18 and 17 transitions. The first excited superdeformed band shows two subsequent band crossing at rotational frequency of about 0.4 and 0.68 MeV
