Film ion-selective electrode for vanadium (5) determination

Description
Electrochemical properties of a film ion-selective electrode on the basis of the chelating agent-5,7-dibromoxyquinoline to determine vanadium (5) are investigated. The electrode with the membrane suggested shows the vanadium function in the concentration raneg from 1x10-1 to 1x10-3 M at pH=2.5-4.0. The ion-selective electrode differs by sufficiently high selectivity to vanadium (5) ions in the presence of cations of alkali, alkali-earth elements and NH4+
