Local magnetism of Fe-V alloys: short-range order effects

Description
Data of Moessbauer spectroscopy of disordered Fe1-xVx (x = 0.40-0.65) alloys were used to determine their local magnetic characteristics. Reconstructed distribution functions of magnetic moments of iron atoms are in a good agreement with theoretical calculations. Wide distributions of local magnetic moments for all examined samples testify to strong effects of local atomic surrounding
