Compatibility of production processes for magnets of Sm-Co and Nd-Fe-B alloys
Description
A consideration is given to the problem of compatibility of technologies of manufacturing permanent magnets from dissimilar magnetically hard materials based on SmCo5 and Nd5Fe14B intermetallics. Mutual influence of above-mentioned materials introduced as impurities, on basic magnetic and processing properties is investigated. It is concluded that additions of one materials to another change the composition of main magnetically hard phases and fundamental properties of permanent magnets. 2 refs.; 4 figs
