Dispersion Energy in a Molecule Composed of Two Anisotropic Vibrating Dipoles

  • 1. Department of Material Science and Engineering, University of Science and Technology of China, Hefei 230026 (China)

Description

For the first time, we derive the dispersion energy for a molecule which involves the anisotropic dipole interaction by virtue of the invariant eigen-operator method, which greatly simplifies the usual calculation if one uses the Schroedinger equation.
