Measurement of reaction cross sections of fission products induced by DT neutrons
Description
With the view of future application of fusion reactor to incineration of fission products, we have measured the 129I(n,2n)128I reaction cross section by DT neutrons with the activation method. The measured cross section was compared with the evaluated nuclear data of JENDL-3.2. From the result, it was confirmed that the evaluation overestimated the cross section by about 20-40%. (author)
