Short distance interaction effects in elastic differential cross section of high energy hadron-nucleus collisions

  • 1. Waseda Univ., Tokyo (Japan). Dept. of Physics

Description

All of elastic differential cross section, absorption cross section and total cross section of high energy hadron-nucleus collisions are systematically analyzed on the basis of a theoretical model, proposed in a previous paper, which formulates a sort of the virtuality effect coming from short distance hadronic interactions inside nucleus in a compact form. Effects of Coulomb scattering and quasi-elastic scattering are also taken into account in the eikonal approximation. (author)
