Description
The results of a numerical simulation of heavy ion beam motion in a multiturn mass-spectrometer are presented. It consists of a magnet system with an azimuthal variation of magnetic field, two dees and an open type arc discharge ion source. The calculations have shown that the mass resolution of ion beams is above 104
