Description
During normal operation of Nuclear Power Plant, the gaseous and liquid effluents will be released into the environment in nuclear plants. The effluent source term is the basis of effluents management and environmental impact assessment. In this paper, the method of AP1000 effluents analysis is studied. According to the operation states and provisions of related standards in China, the analysis method of fission and corrosion products except for H-3 and C-14 in the gaseous and liquid effluents of AP1000 is introduced. The production and release paths are considered and the method reflects the design characteristic of AP1000 nuclear power plant. Finally the effluent source term is calculated according to this new method. (authors)
