Heat capacity measurement of 4He in high porosity aerogels using susceptibility thermometers

Description
The heat capacity of liquid 4He in high (98% and above) porosity aerogels was measured near the depressed superfluid transition temperature using a DC heat pulse technique. Sensitive temperature measurement is possible through the use of paramagnetic susceptibility thermometers. The aerogels for this experiment were grown in situ in separate copper cells
