Giant resonances in a potential well: a semiclassical description
Description
A semiclassical method based on the sum-rule approach together with the Wigner-Kirkwood expansion in powers of h is used in order to describe Giant Isoscalar Resonances at zero and finite temperature for an ensemble of fermions moving freely in a potential well
