Description

We present the results of a multi-site observing campaign on the rapidly oscillating Ap star HD 203932 during which high-speed photometric data were acquired on 14 nights at SAAO and 7 nights at CTIO. We have confirmed the earlier identification of a dominant oscillation frequency at v1=2.8051 mHz and we have refined our identification of this frequency to v1 = 2.804774±0.000014 mHz. However, we are unable to confirm the presence of the secondary frequencies reported in earlier work on this star. After discussing frequency analyses of several subsets of our data, we conclude that there are probably transient oscillation frequencies in the oscillation spectrum of this star and we discuss the presence of transient oscillations in the rapidly oscillating Ap stars in general.
